Feral Flavors by Shawnee Rose

Feral; adjective “wild, untamed, undomesticated”

Hello, I’m Shawnee Rose, the hands and heart behind Feral Flavors.

I’ve been drawn to the rhythms of the natural world for as long as I can remember—gardening, canning, fishing, foraging, and hunting in the Rocky Mountains since childhood. I grew up chasing seasons, collecting moments in jars, and learning that the best things take time, intention, and a little dirt under your nails.

Nestled in the wild beauty of Colorado, I continue to live close to the land. I’m also a painter and artist, inspired by the colors of late summer tomatoes, the quiet hum of bees in the garden, and the surprise of wildflowers and berries on a forest trail. My days are a dance between creating and preserving—art on canvas, and art in a jar.

Feral Flavors is a reflection of all of that. It’s small-batch magic made with heart—rooted in flavor, nature, and the quiet joy of handmade things. I’m so glad you’re here.
